Susana Frade-Classical Guitar Artist

Born in Havana, Cuba, Susana Frade began her guitar studies at the age of 10 at the Manuel Saumell Music Conservatory, continuing her education at the Amadeo Roldan Music Conservatory. She holds a Doctoral degree in Musical Arts (Guitar Performance) from Florida State University, a master’s degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and a bachelor’s degree in music with a major in Guitar Performance from the Instituto Superior de Arte in Cuba.

An award-winning guitarist, Frade has performed at prominent festivals such as the International Guitar Festival of Zihuatanejo (Mexico), the 2022 All-Guitar SummerFest in San Antonio, the 2022/2023 International Guitart Festival organized by FIU, and the FSU Prism Festival, among others. With performances and premieres in Cuba, Mexico, France, and the United States, Frade brings a wealth of international experience to her live performances.
